DOSSier is an inter-disciplinary research group which meets in the Department of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University.
The aim of the group is to provide a platform for academics and researchers from humanities disciplines within the university to research space and society from critical, historical, theoretical, cultural, visual and political perspectives.
It is committed to organising events and producing publications which disseminate the work of its members as well as support young researchers.
Previously known as AHRG (Architecture Humanities Research Group), DOSSier emerged in December 2006 after a call from organisers of AHRA (Architecture Humanities Research Association) 'Politics of Making' conference to form a research cluster within the university.
Current members are from the School of Arts and Humanities; Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment; and School of Social Sciences and Law.
A press release coinciding with the inaugural event held by DOSSier is available here.
