This year's Ecobuild conference at ExCel in London was the biggest so far in its relatively short history. Billed as the world's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment, the event took place on March 1-3 and attracted 1,300 exhibitors, 600 speakers and 50,000 visitors.
Tim Dixon, Director of OISD, spoke at this year's event in a session chaired by Sara Parkin, Director of Forum for the Future. His presentation on "Intrinsic Sustainability and the Triple Bottom Line" was part of the "Beyond Construction" seminar stream in the conference which also included presentations by Andy Theobald, Fielden Clegg Bradley and Simon Erridge, Bennetts Associates Architects.
