We are pleased to announce three new exciting full-time research post based in the OISD Low Carbon Building Group at the School of Architecture in Oxford Brookes University (Oxford, UK).
The OISD Low Carbon Building (LCB) Group at Oxford Brookes University has a strong international reputation in the field of carbon counting (RIBA award-winning DECoRuM model), building performance evaluation, climate change adaptation of buildings and neighbourhoods, and low carbon communities.
This year the LCB group has won several multi-million pound cutting-edge research projects from EPSRC, Innovate UK and EU Horizon 2020 programme. Some of the new projects are: Whole Life Performance plus (WLP+) on staff productivity, indoor environmental conditions and energy use in workspaces; I-Life project on insurance-backed warranty for whole life housing energy performance; HAPI project on management of housing performance information (HAPI) through hindsight, insight and foresight; Zero Plus project on positive energy settlements; HERON project on development of energy-efficient pathways taking into account socio-economic drivers; and LEMUR project on local energy mapping for urban retrofits. Further information about the LCB group is available here: https://www.brookes.ac.uk/architecture/research/low-carbon-building-group/.
